PARTICK THISTLE SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION BECOME KITAID SUPPORTERS

Partick Thistle Supporters Association (The Jags Trust) will be running a “strip amnesty” at their first two home league games. Fans will be able to hand in kit to the Jags Trust booth in the north concourse of the Jackie Husband stand before the matches against Dundee and Stirling Albion on 14 August and 11 September.

Modelling their new strip are Simon Donnelly and Jackie McNamara, two of Thistle’s top players and both former Scotland internationals.

20,000 KITS DONATED THIS YEAR

Many thanks to our amazing Boxing Team for their help this morning. It was hot and tiring, but we still managed to set a new record of 109 boxes leaving the building in Hatfield for South Africa, Burkina Faso, Gambia and Nepal. Not bad for a few hours work!

This brings the total amount sent out in 2010 to exactly 500 boxes, approximately 20,000 items of kit. At this rate we should easily beat last year's final figure of 725 boxes.

Thanks to Sean McGuigan who got in extra early (07.30am) to meet the guy who drops off the boxes.
