A TRIP TO SONISPHERE VIA KITAID HQ

Thanks to Steve Kail, Rovers AC Guernsey, who on his way to Knebworth's recent music festival dropped in to KitAid's Hatfield base with a car load of kit.

The kit was soon sorted and will be off to the Gambia to support Ian Stapleton's coaching charity.

Here's hoping for the next Iron Maiden show down so that we can see Steve again.

CHERNOBYL LINK VISIT TO VEOLIA WATER EDUCATION CENTRE

Following a donation of England shirts to the Chiltern group of the Chernobyl Link Project, the visiting children were invited along to Veolia Water's Education Centre in Bushey.

The children had a fantastic time enjoying the nature trail and pond dipping and also left with some more football tops donated by PUMA.

Thanks to Veolia Water for hosting the visit.

BALLYSILLAN YFC, BELFAST

KitAid sponsored a fantastic week-long football camp for the second year running in Ballysillan, North Belfast.  The project is run by Peter Thompson along with 30 volunteer coaches. Petere does a fantastic job bringing children together from different backgrounds.

Steve Johnson and Derrick Williams from KitAid visited on the final day of the camp and took part in the infamous gauntlet run, where 50 kids fire footballs at the coaches as they run down a narrow channel.  Northern Ireland won the World Cup final on penalties against last year's winners, Togo.

Well done to Peter and his team for another brilliant week.
